Links to external sites can be very useful. Such links might be to other similar sites, sites for specific instruments, festivals. One problem will come from the many hundreds of porn sites that will undoubtably be put up. One restriction on this kind of spamming is that a limit is placed on the number of new external links allowed on any one page that have not yet been approved by the site administrator.
